Where It All Began: A Family Rooted in Water

The Wright sisters’ journey in swimming began in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where water became both a classroom and a calling. What started as childhood curiosity quickly turned into discipline, competition, and excellence.

From early swim lessons to competitive teams like the Bass Park Aqua Angels and Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Club, each sister developed a deep connection to the water—learning not only technique, but resilience, focus, and confidence. Together, they made history as part of one of the first relay teams from Dillard High School in South Florida to compete at the state level, representing both talent and representation in a space where it was often lacking.

Swimming was never just a sport—it became a foundation for identity, growth, and possibility.

Excellence in Motion: From Competition to Scholarship

Driven by commitment and passion, the Wright sisters carried their talents beyond high school into collegiate athletics at North Carolina A&T State University—competing as scholar-athletes in both swimming and track and field.

Gia, the eldest, turned a near-drowning experience at age eight into a full swim scholarship and a career in coaching, becoming both a competitor and a mentor in the sport.
Czamille’s technical excellence and discipline led her to success at the state level and into collegiate athletics, while later shaping her leadership as both an educator and head swim coach.
Kirsten’s early confidence in the water evolved into a professional career in aquatics, where she taught, managed programs, and brought creativity and energy into every lesson she led.

Their journeys reflect more than achievement—they represent perseverance, preparation, and purpose.

W3 Swim: Legacy, Leadership, and Life Skills

W3 SWIM is the continuation of legacy.

Founded by the Wright sisters—Gia, Czamille, and Kirsten—W3 WIM was created to redefine what swim instruction looks and feels like. It is built on generations of experience, a commitment to water safety, and a belief that swimming is a life-saving skill that should be accessible, empowering, and transformative.
